The following license terms apply to all digital design files offered on the LasrFocus website and to premium designs sold through the FoshiFlotsam Design Etsy shop.
All designs are created by FoshiFlotsam Design. LasrFocus serves as the learning and distribution platform for tutorials, resources, and file downloads.
License types
The following licenses are available for digital design files:
Quick summary
If you’ve downloaded a free design from this website or purchased a premium design through the FoshiFlotsam Design Etsy shop:
- Your download automatically includes a Personal Use & Small Business Commercial License.
- This license allows you to create physical items only.
- You may sell up to 100 physical items per Design Package.
- If you plan to sell more than 100 physical items, you must purchase an Extended Commercial License.

Definitions
To avoid confusion across different types of files, the following definition applies throughout this page:
Design Package
A Design Package refers to the digital files included in a single download or purchase. This may include:
- A single design (e.g. one engraving design or one assembled object).
- Multiple related designs (e.g. a set of coasters or bracelet styles).
- A collection of files that together form a single project (e.g. all parts for a box, shelf, etc.).
All license limits apply per Design Package, not per individual file.
Personal Use & Small Business Commercial License
All free and premium design files downloaded from this website or purchased through the FoshiFlotsam Design Etsy shop automatically include this license.
You are not required to give credit to LasrFocus or FoshiFlotsam Design when selling physical items made from the designs.
What you CAN do with this license
You may:
- Create physical items for personal use (yourself, gifts, friends, family, etc.).
- Create and sell up to 100 physical items per Design Package.
- Use the designs to produce physical goods that you make and sell directly.
- Examples:
- If a Design Package includes one engraving design, you may sell up to 100 engraved items.
- If a Design Package includes multiple designs or project files, you may sell up to 100 total physical items made using any combination of those designs.
- Each purchase of a paid design or design bundle grants its own Personal Use and Small Business Commercial License.
- Licenses from multiple purchases may be stacked to increase the number of physical items you’re allowed to sell.
What you CANNOT do with this license
You may not:
- Sell more than 100 physical items per Design Package without purchasing an Extended Commercial License.
- Use the designs to create logos, branding assets, digital graphics, templates, ebooks, or any other digital or business-identity materials.
- Create derivative digital works based on the designs.
- Resell, share, distribute, or give away the digital files in any format.
- Modify, reverse engineer, or adapt the designs and redistribute them digitally.
- Upload the designs or elements from them to print-on-demand or third-party fulfillment platforms.
- Use the designs for unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or offensive purposes.
- Transfer the license to another individual or business.
- For free designs, the license applies only to the initial download; re-downloading the same file does not grant additional licenses or increase permitted production.

Extended Commercial License
If you wish to create and sell more than 100 physical items using a Design Package, you must purchase an Extended Commercial License.
This license allows the creation and sale of up to 1,000 physical items per Design Package.
You are not required to give credit to LasrFocus or FoshiFlotsam Design.
How the Extended Commercial License works
- Download a free design from this website or purchase a premium design from the FoshiFlotsam Design Etsy shop; OR
- Purchase ONE Extended Commercial License per Design Package for which you intend to exceed 100 physical items sold.
Example:
- If you use Design Package A to sell between 101-1,000 items, you need one Extended Commercial License.
- If you also use Design Package B to sell between 101-1,000 items, you need a second Extended Commercial License.
What you CAN do with this license
You may:
- Create and sell up to 1,000 physical items per Design Package.
- Use the designs across multiple physical products, as long as the total number of items sold does not exceed 1,000 per Design Package.
What you CANNOT do with this license
You cannot:
- Use the designs to create logos, branding assets, digital graphics, templates, ebooks, white papers, or any other digital or business-identity materials.
- Create derivative digital works based on the designs.
- Resell, share, distribute, sublicense, or give away the digital files in any format.
- Modify, reverse engineer, adapt, or alter the designs and make them available to others in digital form.
- Upload the designs or any elements from them to print-on-demand, fulfillment, or third-party manufacturing platforms.
- Use the designs for unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or offensive purposes.
- Claim the designs as your own or represent them as original works created by you.
- Transfer or assign the license to another individual or business.
- Exceed 1,000 physical items per Design Package under this license.
This license applies only to the creation and sale of physical items made by you using the designs.
